Obama Presents $700 Million Plan For Increased Security On Mexican Border

Obama’s new plan provides $700 million to Mexican military and law enforcement agencies to help provide security on the border. U.S. funds will pay for helicopters and aircraft for the Mexican government. More U.S. Federal agents and resources will be moved to the border.
Of increasing concern to U.S. officials is the violence in the border region, much of which can be tied to the drug cartels operating in the area. The plan calls for an increase in the sharing of intelligence between the two countries.
Drug cartel related violence killed 6,500 people in Mexico last year. Mexican President Felipe Calderon has said the U.S. government needs to take greater responsibility for the demand for drugs, and also the fact that most of the weapons being used by narco traffickers originate in the U.S.
This is starting to smell like the situation in Columbia to me. Our military has been involved there for many years, with drug cartels controlling large portions of that country. Mexico appears to be losing control in certain areas to the drug cartels there as well. Let us hope that following the same type of foreign intervention in Mexico will yield better results than it did in Columbia.

I look at this a little differently that you do. This could have been resolved years ago under the Clinton administration! I question if our government actually wants to control the drugs entering this country. It seems governments look at everything thing in a fiscal manner. Life and rights mean little to governments. From our own city council up to our federal government.
These drugs are the only source of revenue for the Mexican government. Either way we look at it. Our government feels that we must control every aspect of what is happening in Mexico. Whether it be our drug users propping up the Mexican government or us taxpayers propping them up. Our government plans on doing it.
It is clear as to what is happening. Our government does absolutely nothing about illegal immigrants. Once in awhile a raid will be made on a business to round these people up. But only if it is taking tax monies out of the governments’ pockets.
The scope of this whole Mexican crisis whether it be illegals, drugs or gun running. It all is about eventually opening the borders and making Mexico, Canada and the U.S. ONE nation.
When Geithner and Bananke said this morning on the AIG mess. They feel one monetarty currency in the entire world is the way the United States treasury should become!
Bible prophecy is being fulfilled. A one world government is in the works. And no matter what we do. WE will become one government whether we like it or not! The American taxpayer is no longer electing our president nor elected officials. The money machine is now in control of America!
