Mike Huckabee Wins BLOGSUNNYSIDE Straw Poll
April 29, 2011 3 Comments
Mike Huckabee wins with 82.42% of the vote in the BLOGSUNNYSIDE straw poll. Michele Bachmann came in a distant second place with 3.3%. About 5% of the vote went to “Other”.
“Other” candidates that poll takers listed were: Chris Christie, Paul Ryan, Barack Obama (who when I checked last is not even a Republican), and Sunnyside Council Member Don Vlieger.
Thanks to those who voted for one of the twenty possible candidates listed in the poll, and to participates willing to list other candidates that I did not include in the poll.
Editor’s Note: At this time, I am not supporting or endorsing any candidate for the 2012 Presidential Election.

The old Gomer Pyle Huckabee won this straw poll. It seems interesting being he is a very liberal individual per his fiscal records . A man who let out the murderer of the officers on the west side. I do believe he would not have a chance even against Obama. He may carry some southern states, but cannot go any further with his baggage ! Too many real good young tea party members for Huckabee to lie his way to the nomination this time!
Huckabee didn’t let any murderers out. Get your story straight! In fact anyone who Huckabee commuted their sentence were not murderers nor were they “let out” by. The governer in Arkansas can’t parole anyone. I’m sure you knew that, right? It’s all done by a parole board.
Mike,
A parole board might be the body that paroles a prisoner, but if the governor orders a pardon or commutes a sentence, they must follow that order. An Arkansas prisoner had his sentence commuted (got out early) because Governor Huckabee signed such an order. This same prisoner later murdered multiple police officers in Washington state. However, despite such baggage, Mike Huckabee continues to poll well, and if he decides to run in 2012, is a very viable candidate.
