BLOGSUNNYSIDE is edited by Jason R. Raines, candidate for Sunnyside City Council, District 1. He is a husband and proud father of three young children. Jason is a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army for four years. He earned the rank of Captain while in the service, and was acting company commander of an Infantry unit for several months. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, and ran his own business as an Over-The-Road truck driver in the private sector.
Jason is a 1997 graduate of Auburn University, in Auburn, Alabama. He earned a degree in Management Information Systems, and maintained a better than 3.0 GPA while in school.
Jason R. Raines stands ready to offer his servant leadership philosophy, leadership experience, and family oriented values to the City of Sunnyside, by running to serve on the Sunnyside City Council.
